He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll "O. C." Boggs and Thelma Clasby Boggs; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Maddox Boggs; and his sister Shirley Heuer. He is survived by: his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Ginni Boggs of Calhoun; his daughters, Kelli (Christopher Ryan) and Carrie Brohm of Villa Rica; his caregivers, Susan and Tim Bugl of Douglasville; and his brothers, Jerry Boggs of North Georgia and Ralph Boggs of Bluffton, SC. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
