With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Lee Carter of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Licking, Missouri, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Carter, Jr. and Betty Ellen Mckee Carter; and his grandparents, Oscar, Leah Carter, Raymond and Betty McKee.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Yvonne Carter of Douglasville; his children, Amanda Moyer (David) of Douglasville, Micah Carter (Leah) of Douglasville and Jeremy Carter (Brittany) of Carrollton; his siblings, Carmeletta Parks (Jerry) of Blue Springs, MO, Julia Pounds of Houston, MO and Lonnie Carter (Bonita) of Nixa, MO; his grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Samuel, Noah, Elijah, Weston, Aiden, Savannah, Colton, Anniston and Landon; his cousins, Lora Stilley (Jerry), Patty Sleebos (Tim) and Mark Merckling; and his brother David Boyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
