Hamner and Cheron Hamner-Burse (Tracy); his sisters, Dorothy Woody and Delores "Tee" Volious; his grandchildren, Niara Tabb, Jonathan McCaleb, Camry McCaleb, Terrance Chandler-Harrison (Angelica), Martinique Walton and CJ Peters (Ceesha); his great grandchildren, Karter Sweat and Nori Sweat; and his adoptive children, Dorothea Norman, Shavonda McCaleb, Todd Mitchell (Etrudy) and Brett Jackson (Tangela). He is also survived by Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins.
