He was predeceased by : his parents, Matthew Sr. Mosley and Celeste Mosley; and his siblings, Robert, Elizabeth, Ida, Eddie, Della, Evelyn, Matthew Jr. and Daisy.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia O'Connell; his daughters, Sherry McKinney-Nurullah (Hassan) and Sharon Hixon (Clarence Jr.); his siblings, Ruth Barge, Shirley Mosley, William Mosley (Beatrice) and Larry Mosley; and his grandsons, Joseph McKinney, Clarence Hixon III and Michael Hixon.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
