She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hulsey and Samantha Canida Hulsey; her son Aaron Jones; and her brothers, Jimmy Hulsey and Terry Hulsey.
She is survived by: her husband Kermot Benefield; her children, Ricky Jones, Emmett Hendrix, Lamanda Stone, Josh Benefield, Rodney Benefield and Phillip Benefield; her grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Jr., Ricky Jones, Chris Jones, Blakely Benefield, Amber Young, Hannah Stone and Chad Acheson; and her siblings, Shelby Hulsey, Gail Hulsey, Becky Long, H. M. Hulsey (Curley) and Tony Hulsey. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 10 nieces and 10 nephews.
