She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Charles Taylor and Dorothy Matilda Taylor (Campbell); her son Phil Harper; and her siblings, Lester Taylor, Leonard Taylor, Richard Taylor, Charles Taylor, Wesley Taylor Jr., Loretta Taylor and Rosemary Daleska (Taylor).

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Westmoreland (Gary), Anita Brown (Rob) and Chris Harper (Kolleen); her siblings, Raymond "Bobby" Taylor, Theresa Pattison (John) and Linda Lindhurst (Roger); and her grandchildren, Anthony, Shannon, Jessica, Kai, Paul, Cody, Lauren and Felicia. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Douglasville Church of God of Prophecy Missions fund in her honor.
