With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Lavone Cantrell of Douglasville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Patrick Collett and Grace Gramling Collett; and her children, Toby West and Julie Cantrell. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Daniel Cantrell, Jr.; her children, Terry West, Tim West (Kelley) and Amanda Thomas (Rusty); her grandchildren, Trevor West (Lauren), Taylor West, Travis West, Reyna Sprinkle (Hayden) and Wyatt Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Luke West, Lily West, Cora-Leigh Samples, Bennett Sprinkle and Harrison Sprinkle.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund.
