Though Luther may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Sanders; and his son-in-law David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Donehoo; his daughter Tara Donehoo; his grandson Zachary Barton Smith; his brother Phillip Briggs; and his sister-in-law Jackie Dillard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Whitley Garner Funeral Home (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
