He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Molly Jewell Garrett (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Jean Garrett; his stepsons, Byron Hunt (Nancy) and Scott Hunt (Kristie); his brother Doyle Garrett (Rita) of Daphne, Alabama; his grandchildren, Rachel Hunt, Phillip Hunt, Amanda Hunt Nolan (Ryan) and Caroline Hunt; and his great grandchild Anderson Elizabeth Nolan.
