He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Autry Midgett and Elizabeth Williams Midgett; his siblings, Randy Eller and Melanie Diane Gibbs; Cory Bounds.

He is survived by: his wife Caroline Hannah Cochran of Douglasville; his children, Kimberly Elizabeth Bounds of Douglasville, Marley Makayla Scott of Tennessee and Gail Midgett; and his siblings, Barbara Anne Roemer of Elizabeth City, Susan Elizabeth Harbin of Loganville, Georgia, Donny Liemley of Villa Rica, Rhonda Ray of Athens, Peggy Mackendrick of Monroe, Christopher Earl Rainey of Lavonia, Cecilia Waites of Jefferson and Teresa McDaniel-Perez of Stockbridge. He is also survived by two grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
