With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pat Kitchens of Douglasville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Griffin and Olive Griffin; her siblings, Norman Brinkley, Evelyn Griffin Dahl and Grace Ann Griffin; and her grandson Matthew Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Kitchens; her children, Linda Kitchens Taylor, Gail Kitchens Morris (Mike), Doris Kitchens, William Kitchens, Jr. (Lynn) and Michael David Kitchens (Mike); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor Hicks (Phil), Brian Taylor, Jason Kitchens (Ashley), Amy Kitchens Love (Pat), Patrick Kitchens (Ashley), Lauren Rose Nelson (Chris), Kyle Morris Olivia Morris (Ashley), Julia Kitchens Wooldridge (Zach) and Tye Kitchens (Shelby). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; 7 nieces and 4 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Pat to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church or New Georgia Baptist Church.
