We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Richard Spencer of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Spencer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Spencer and Minerva Moffett Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Spencer of Douglasville; his sons, Rick (Beth Spencer) and Scott (Dayle Spencer); his grandchildren, Nicole Harben and Meredith Miller (Zach) of Auburn, AL.; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Miller and Noah Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers may be sent, or contributions may be made to the Shriners Burn Center in honor of Mr. Spencer.
