He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dathan Hitt and Esther Chalker Nunn; and his wife Linda Way Hitt. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Sisson of Villa Rica, Melissa Shoffner (James) of Winston and Pixie Hitt of Douglasville, Georgia; his brother Paul Nunn of Dallas, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Chantal Sisson, Jessie Shoffner, Dustin Gray, Chyenne Shoffner and Brooklyn Hitt. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
