She was predeceased by: her husband James T. Jones, Jr.; her parents, Lawrence Chapman and Nellie Chapman; and her stepbrothers, Jack Chapman and Lawrence Chapman.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Jones (Sherry) and Randy Jones (Vickie); and her stepbrother Gene Chapman of Raleigh.
