She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ratcliff Marshall and Doris Marie Bittick; her husband Colonel Joel Hampson Ward; and her son Steven Thomas Ward. She is survived by: her sons, Joel Hampton Ward (MarLena) and Michael Jay Ward (Amber); her sisters, Merry Lee Meizelis and Jackie Johnston; her grandchildren, Alex Ward (Keri), Laura Ward, Katie Ward, Ashley Morrison (Ben) and Nicole Ward; and her great grandchild Ava Morrison.
