She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shipp and Virgie Mae Jarman Shipp; her daughter Amber Leigh Thompson; and her brothers, Donald Fred Shipp and Larry Leon Shipp.
She is survived by: her husband William E. "Tommy" Thompson, Sr.; her children, Tara Nicole Fasone and William E "Tommy" Thompson, Jr.; her sisters, Manya Adams (Ken), Mary Dean Greer (Jim) and Carolyn Ward; and her granddaughter Ava Fasone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
