He is survived by: his wife Gwen Lester Davis; his daughters, Leslie Davis Newton (Ryan) and Heather Davis Fields (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Gavin Stewart and Iyla Newton; his brother Terry Davis (Donna); and his sister-in-law Jackie Thornton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
