She was predeceased by: her husband Roy "Danny" Daniel Wheeler; her parents, William Orell Cole and Opal Inez McGarity; her daughters, Penny Padget and Lisa Gravley; and her sister Patsy Hames.
She is survived by: her son David Lee Gravley; her daughter-in-law Susan of Apollo Beach, FL; her brother Robert Cole of Douglasville, GA; her nephew Randy Cole; and her grandchildren, Michelle McClure, Christopher Mathew and Richard Joseph. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Georgia Memorial Park (2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060).
