He was predeceased by: his brother Jacquel Smith; and his aunts, Annie Smith and Tammy Thomas. He is survived by: his parents, Connie Smith and Greg Payne; his son Zaylan Queshun Payne; his siblings, Aja Payne, Benton Dudley, Daquan Smith, Gregtazis Payne and Johnathon Bush; his grandmothers, Jacqueline Rozier and Annie Surry; and his aunts and uncles, Amelia Mack (Brandon), Tina Hosley, April Smith, Terrence Brown (Benita) of New Orleans, Alvin Payne (Chiquita) of Kathleen, Charles Kinsey of Douglasville and Horace Mitchell of Montrose.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (1824 Claxton Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021).
