He is survived by: his wife Gayle Graham Mertz Johnson; his children, Sybil Horn (Donnie Daniel) of Crosby, TX and Michael; his grandchildren, David Horn and Krystal Horn of Crosby, TX; his sisters, Josephine Jackson and Saralynn Cooper; and his extended family, Mike Mertz (Cheryl) and Beth Kimbro (David).
