She was predeceased by: her parents, Mackey Sears and Vera Sears; her siblings, Gladys Ethridge and Jack Sears; and her daughter Suzanne Stewart.
She is survived by: her son Lewis Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Daniel Stewart (Bessie), Steve Smith, Jonathan Smith (Diana), David Smith (Ellen), Joanna Vitro (Neil) and Susanna Quinones (Pedro); her great grandchildren, Ellie, Ben Stewart, Christina, Nathan Smith, Matthew Vitro, Vera, Peter Smith, Olivia and Oliver Quinones; and her husband Lewis Smith.
However, Covid, pneumonia, and then a fall led to her death.
