She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard D. Childers, Jr. and Marcetta Childers; her brothers-in-law, Michael McDonald, Ron Kryak and Terry Kersey; and her nephew Adam.
She is survived by: her husband David McDonald; her daughter Kristina Granstaff (Chase); her siblings, Richard D. Childers, III and Jessica Childers Paul (Buck); her granddaughters, Mercy and Mikah Granstaff; her parents-in-law, Virginia Kersey, Christina Kryak, Terri Pinnix (Bobby), Andy McDonald and Sue McDonald; and her cousins, Mitchell Childers, Sheila Childers, Jennifer Meeks (AJ), Savannah Childers, Erica Thomas, Jason Thomas, Brian Gholson (Cassandra), Lara Gholson, Eric Bentley, Brandy Smith (Michael), Jaley Lynn Smith, Stephanie, Mandy, Anna, Adam, Joshua, Mark, Peter and Lee.
