It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Slaughter Cooper (Dublin, Georgia), born in Montrose, Georgia, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Ashton and Sara Elizabeth Bridges Slaughter; her siblings, Joseph Pud Slaughter, Cecil Slaughter, Sidney Slaughter and Francis Dinah Adkins; and her granddaughter Brittany Elise Cooper.
She is survived by : her husband Elmo Cooper, Jr.; her children, Gregory Dale Cooper (Beth Shillingburg) and Sharon Rena Awtry (Dwayne); and her grandchildren, Bryan Cooper, Melissa Cooper, Sara Cooper and Dylan Awtry. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
