She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Wilson Washington, Sr. and Day; her siblings, Evelyn Washington, Sherman Washington, Leroy Washington, Wilson Washington, Jr. and Carey Washington; her sister-in-law Gloria Washington; and her close friend Grover "Champ" Davis.

She is survived by: her sister Inell Washington; her daughters, Chiquita "Quita" Jones (Leroy) of Valdosta, Georgia, Lakeisha Washington (Eric) of Dublin and Tiffany James; her sisters, Ann Golden of Dublin, Annese Washington of Dublin and Georgia; her sisters-in-law, Rae Helen Washington, Bonnie Ruth Washington, Dessie Washington, Joyce Smith (Don), Lenora Barlow (Curtis), Eva Florence (Benjamin), Claudia Davis (Henry, Sr.) of Dublin, GA, Mary Davis and Dollie Jefferson (Robert) of Florida; and her aunt Addie Washington of Dublin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

She was also quietly philanthropic, receiving certificates for donating to several charities over the years.
