She was predeceased by: her parents, George Griffin Hogan and Mildred Winnelle Wilkinson Hogan; and her brother Donald Roy Hogan. She is survived by: her children, George David, Jr. (Cynthia) of Augusta, GA and Kelly Winnelle of Athens, GA; her grandsons, Andrew David (Kaylee), Logan Michael (Camille), Grayson Patrick of Augusta, GA and Jordan Christopher (Hannah) of Fort Stewart, GA; her brother George Griffin Hogan, Jr. of Dexter, GA; and her nephews, George Griffin Hogan, III (Justine) and Brian Edmund Hogan (Simpson).
In lieu of flowers, Carole has asked that donations be made to ABC Women's Clinic or to one of the many local charities (e.g., Widow's Oil, Kid's Cup, Wings).
