She was predeceased by: her parents, Don B. Mays, Sr. and Myrtle Mays Horne; her stepfather Edwin Horne; her brother Don B. "Donnie" Mays, Jr.; her brother-in-law Billy Wilson; her nephew Don B. Mays III; her great-niece Brittany McLain; her great-nephew Adam Mays; and her close friend Homer Edge.
She is survived by: her sister Peggy Mays Wilson of Lyons; her sister-in-law Janice Mays Glover (Larry) of Baldwin County; her niece Cynthia McLain (Jeff) of Vidalia; and her nephews, Benjamin Wilson (Holly) of China, Courtney "Bill" Wilson (Nicole), Christopher Mays (Elli) and Chadwick Mays of Milledgeville.
