With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Wiggins of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Henry Mitchell and Carrie Spivey Mitchell; her siblings, Joseph Bill Mitchell, Sr., Roberta, Viola Coney and Willie Mitchell (Betty); her grandson Marcus Chappell; and her nephews, Rayfield Thompkins, Sr. (Willie Mae), Albert Thompkins, James Thompkins, Otis Mitchell, Roy Mitchell and Robert Earl Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Wiggins (Barbara) of Lithonia, GA and Brenda Wiggins (Randi) of Douglasville, GA.; her grandchildren, Shakira Neal, Aaron Chappell, Chitqueta Wiggins and Ashley Wiggins; her siblings, Hattie Mae Thompkins of Dublin, GA, Cora Sims of Atlanta, GA, Mary Davis of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Bethenia Mitchell of Riveria Beach, FL.; and her niece Margaret T. Wheeler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
