He was predeceased by: his son Felix Hiram Holt; his wife Patricia "Patty" Holt; and his sister Bonita "Bonnie" Samuelson. He is survived by: his children, David Holt of Noblesville, IN and Meredith Anne Nichols (Kendall) of Noblesville, IN; his sister Pamela Sue Spence of Clearwater, FL; and his grandchildren, Tyler James Holt (Lexi Miller), Jacob Daniel Holt and Ryan Douglas Townsend. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens (2986 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021).
