He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Thomas Scarbrough and Mary E. Lizzie Maddox Scarbrough; and his brother Bobby Scarbrough. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Scarbrough of East Dublin; his children, Charles Edward Scarbrough, Jr. of Burnham, PA, Phillip Chad Scarbrough of East Dublin, Susan Lanier Scarbrough of Dublin and Kimberly Lynn Scarbrough of Buckey; and his siblings, Scarborough of East Dublin, Ricky Scarbrough of Dublin, Hilda Wynn of Dublin and Patsy Beall of Dublin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Scarbrough to St. Jude Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
