It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Hunter of Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Little Sweet Hunter and Edward Street, Sr.; his brother Edward Street, Jr.; and his granddaughter Deloris Zytria Stephens. He is survived by: his children, Derrick V. Stephens, Sr. (Melissa) of Dublin, Ronald Patrick of Naranja, Elgin Todd of Dublin and Zandra Robinson of Atlanta; his siblings, Ernest Adams (Dorothy) of Atlanta, Bill Brown (Tashae) of Naranja, George Street (Oddessa) of Savannah, Harold Street (Beverly) of Savannah, Alvin Street of Savannah, Reverend Louise Walker, Sr. (Alton) of Dublin, Rhonda Street King of Savannah and Althea Street of Savannah; and his cousin Robert Hunter (Linda) of Savannah. He is also survived by six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
