He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brown and Goldie Brown; his wife Judith Ann Bedingfield Brown; and his siblings, Lois Schiano, Betty Smith, Thelma Alvarado, Mildred Fontenot and Fredrick "Junior" Brown.

He is survived by: his daughter Terri Watson; his son-in-law Brian; and his caregiver Penny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
