He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cox and Evelyn Elizabeth Cox; his wife Patricia Joan Mullis; his brother Edward Cox; and his nephew Stephen Pope.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Graham (Tommy) of Dublin and Teresa Mullis of Dublin; his grandchildren, Candace Williams (Dealous, Jr.) of Dublin, Jessica Pittman of Dublin, Carmen-Rae Graham of Dublin and Casie Graham of Dublin; his great grandchildren, Joshua NeeSmith of Dublin, Hunter Register of Dublin, Trey Williams of Dublin, Lillie Williams of Dublin, Jesslyn Sellers of Dublin and Jace Sellers of Dublin; his sister Dianne Pope (Douglas) of Dublin; and his siblings-in-law, Ishmael Elmo Cooper "Bubba", Jr. of Eastman and Brenda Cox of Dublin.
