He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Robert Evans and Ethel Bedingfield Evans; and his siblings, Richard C. Evans, Roy Evans, Grace Evans Ballard, Prentice Evans, Anita Evans Young and Betty Evans Edge.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Sue Evans; his daughter Debra Sue "Debbie" Evans; his grandchildren, Jeremy David Williams (Ashley), Joshua Ryan Williams (Victoria) and Brittany Sue Williams (Cole); his great grandchildren, Kinsleigh Grace Williams, Madison Sam Williams and Brylee Sue Williams; and his brothers, James Robert Evans and Ray Evans (Joan) of Rentz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
