He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Carden and Lula Carden; and his siblings, Carl Eugene Carden, Georgia Allen and Fannie Louise McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Stewart Carden of Dublin; his children, Zona Neumans of Dublin, Lisa Skinner Sirmans (Roy) of Edisto Island, SC, Craig Skinner (Cathy) of Dublin and Chris Skinner (Katrina) of Dexter; his grandchildren, Angela Hardy (Dwayne) of Jason Bush, T. J, Brandy Neumans (Barry White), Kyle Skinner, Cameron Skinner and Haedyn Skinner; his great grandchildren, Leah, Anlee, Toby Collin De, Michael, Ayden, Thomas and Snow; and his brother Calvin Couley Carden.
De was known for building bird houses and butterfly houses to donate to the church's fundraiser auction, and to family and friends.
