She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Junior Steinmann; her parents, Carlton Hudon "Don" NeSmith and Peggy Elizabeth Grubbs Spires; and her siblings, Charles Eugene "Gene" NeSmith and Michelle Spires.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Herndon (Jerry) and Cindy Steinmann (Sean Courtenay); her grandson Caleb Myles Herndon; her siblings, Jeff NeSmith (Donna K.), Jennifer McCardle (Mark), Anne Brown and Ginger Johnson (Wade); and her pet Molly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
