It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Eugene Ellis in Dublin, Georgia, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James Ellis, Sr. and Ada Lenore Gregory Ellis; and his wife Carol Marie Lopus Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Aaron J. Ellis of Dublin, Dawn L. Johnson of Rentz and Alyssa S. Ellis of Kite; and his brother Frederick Allen Ellis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
