He is survived by: his children, Heather Currie-Martinez (Tara) of California, Lori McGowan (Joni) of Dublin, Anna McGowan of Ladson, S. C. and Eric Currie of Bradenton, FL; his siblings, Beth Spinks of Alamo and H. M. Currie of Shreveport, LA; and his grandchildren, Isabel Currie-Martinez, Jasmine Shepard, Kathlyn Prophitt, Layla Prophitt, Makenna McGowan and Jordan McGowan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
