With sadness, we share the passing of Edsel Parley Padgett (Dublin, Georgia). Edsel, born on August 21, 1938, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Parley Padgett and Elma Padgett of Glennville; and his brother Edwin. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda (Dewey), Mark and Brad (Stacy); his grandsons, Brett, Caleb and Clay; his great grandchild Josie Rae; and his sister Ramona Carlile of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jefferson Street Baptist Church, 209 N. Jefferson Street, Dublin, GA 31021, in memory of Edsel.
