She was predeceased by: her father Julius Sutton; her former husband James Ray Davis; her brothers, Earl, Grable and Roy Sutton; her grandson Matt Carter; and her daughter-in-law Gwen Sweat Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Hutchinson; her sons, Ronnie Carter, Donnie Carter (Lynn), Danny Carter (Tricia) and Randy Carter (Evelyn Ikner); her stepchildren, Sean Hutchinson and Lisa Hutchinson; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Blythe, Ron Carter, Krystal Tanner, Kasey Carter, Kelli Johnson, Mandy Rudd, Alicia McCoy and Dustin Carter. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
