It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Hudgins of Dublin, Georgia, born in Cusseta, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Erving Hudgins and Evelyn Hudgins Williams; his sister Brenda Gail Willhite; and his brothers-in-law, William Harry and Carl Willhite.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shawna Orr (James) of Dublin, GA and Brandi Salas (Jose) of Moore, SC; his grandchildren, Seth Orr of Dublin, GA, Jonah Orr of Dublin, GA, Elizabeth Salas of Moore, SC, Cecilia Salas Hoffhaus of Moore, SC and Daniel Salas (Kylee) of Moore, SC; his great grandchildren, Ryann, Kennedy, Cameron Hoffhaus, Barrett and Quade Salas of Moore, SC; and his sisters, Carolyn Harry of Hiram, GA, Diane Shirah (Eddie) of Kennesaw, GA and Teresa Raisin (Phil) of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
