He was predeceased by: his parents, George Payne and Betty Payne. He is survived by: his son Eric Payne (Krystal) of Dublin; his brother Dale Payne (Pam) of East Dublin; his grandchildren, Jayden Payne of Dublin and Keely Payne of Dublin; and his niece Amy Payne of Dublin.
