It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Hammett Starkey (Dublin, Georgia), born in Harrison, Georgia, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Mike Rachels; her mother Lizzie Pearl Hooks; her brother Joe Hooks; and her husband Kenn Starkey. She is survived by: her daughter Robin White; her grandchildren, Jade Burnett (Deandre) and Paige Burnett (Michael); her great grandchildren, Khloe Scott, Ezra Lumley and Lydia Garnto; her brothers, Tim Burgamy (Sandra) and Jimmy Hooks (Ramona); and her sister-in-law Pam Hooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sandersville Community Church in Mrs. Starkey's memory.
