She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Burney Barker and Kathryn Watson Barker Gannon; her husband William Carl Gettys, Jr.; and her son William Carl Gettys, III (Debbie). She is survived by: her sons, John Barker Gettys (Tonya) and Marshall Gannon Gettys (Bonnie); and her grandchildren, Kathryn Gettys Cullens (Andy) of Dublin, John Barker Gettys, Jr., Blake Alexander Gettys, Grady Carl Cullens (Kelsey), Nathan Andrew Cullens (Kaitlin), Leann Brooke Gettys (Joy) and Abbie Caroline Gettys.
