He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Peavy and Maefield Hammock Peavy; and his siblings, Nettie Peavy Sammons, Elbert Peavy, Dewey Peavy, Coleman Peavy and Dan Peavy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Page Peavy; his children, Ricky Peavy, Greg Peavy and Liesa Peavy; his sister Barbara Sue Peavy Waller; his grandchildren, Mandi Peavy Berry, Carley Peavy, Dalton Peavy and Casey Peavy; and his great grandchildren, LeAnna Berry, Lane Berry, Tayton Warren and Colins Tripp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
