He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dorsey Moore and Sara Davis Moore; his sister Betty Stagg; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Linder (William) and Dr. William Taylor (Bill); and his son-in-law George Leverett, III.
He is survived by: his wife Aimee June Dixon of Laurens County; his daughter Wendy Tiegs (Thomas); his granddaughter Callie Clark (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Levi of North Augusta and Lucas of North Augusta; his sister Martha Taylor (Lester Lord) of Tennille; and his brother-in-law Lee Dixon (Rhonda) of Dublin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Dublin (405 Bellevue Ave, Dublin, GA 31021). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Dublin Memorial Gardens (2986 US-80, Dublin, GA 31021).
