We are sad to announce that, on August 20, 2020, Ira Edwards of Dublin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Joe Edwards; his sister-in-law Elizabeth McCloud; and his son-in-law Bro. Kenneth O'Neal. He is survived by: his mother Ollie Edwards of Dublin; his brother Wholesale Co; his children, Evangelist Sharon Blackwell (Elder Andrew) of Dumfries, VA and Missionary Patricia Edwards of Dublin; and his brother Deacon Joshua Edwards (Helen) of Daytona Beach, FL. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and dear friends.

Due to COVID19, the homegoing celebration will be private, but it will be livestreamed on the Dudley Funeral Home Facebook Page.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Ira Edwards Scholarship Fund by mail at 210 North Decatur Street, Dubliin, GA 31021.
