He was predeceased by: his parents, Jule Sanders and Flossie Graham Sanders; his siblings, James, Clarence, Eulas Sanders and Mary Smith; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Byrd (Jay) and Miriam Carter (Francis); and his niece Mary Alice Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Eudell Kight Sanders of Dublin, GA; his niece Taylor Carter-Dean (Drake) of Jacksonville, FL; his sisters-in-law, Ruby Nelle Black and Elsie Black; and his nieces and nephews, Judy Wrye (Randall), Rhonda Wrye, Ken Sanders, Melanie Sanders, Alicia Howell (Chris), Jordan Jowell, Joy Brown (David), Michelle Brown-Dickens (Sammy), Ridge Brown-Dickens, Michael Carter, Thomas Carter, Tucker Carter, Krystal McCranie (Matt), Kinsley McCranie, Ridge McCranie and David Howard.
