He is survived by: his wife Iola Stephens Covington of East Dublin; his daughter Wanda Senn (Clark) of Dudley; his siblings, Carol Boyd (Bernard) of Newington, Schevy Jean Nubern (Rodney) of Brooklet, Jimmy Covington (Brenda) of East Dublin and Ricky Covington (Susan) of Pooler; his grandchildren, Crystal Genteman (Drew) of Atlanta, Miranda Covington of Lawrenceville, Lauren Windham of Highlands Ranch, CO and Kyle Windham of Byron; and his great grandchildren, Elise Genteman, James Genteman and Wesley Doyle.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory (1320 N Jefferson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel (1320 US-441, Dublin, GA 31021). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Dublin Memorial Gardens.
