He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Woodard Stokes of Dublin; his children, James Anthony Stokes (Sharon) of Dublin, Darrell Ralph Stokes (Shanda) of Glenwood and Sheila Renee Newton of Dublin; his brothers, Albert Stokes (Nellie) of Valdosta and Clyde Stokes (Marion) of Valdosta; and his grandchildren, Cailin Newton, Ethan Stokes, Owen Stokes, Karah Newton and Sadie Stokes.
