She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo J. Dixon and Ella Mae Dixon; and her sisters, Patsy Wise and Betty Waters. She is survived by: her husband Gordon W. "Billy" Holmes, Jr. of Dublin; her son Richard C. Holmes (Heather) of Rincon; her brother Jimmy Dixon of Rincon; her grandchild Ashlynn Holmes; and her stepgrandchild Regan Reese (Joe).
The family of Mrs. Holmes believes that because of Jeanette's love for kids, it would be her greatest honor to be remembered by giving to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 53 Perimeter Center E. Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30346 in memory of her name instead of flowers, etc.
